Stefan Rusconi on 3Sat as guest of
'Berg und Geist'

On august 3 Stefan Rusconi will be the featured guest of 'Berg und Geist' on the 3Sat channel. Pianist and bandleader Stefan Rusconi, 31, originally from Zurich, now based in Berlin, is one of the most interesting exponents of the contemporary jazz scene. Together with bassist Fabian Gisler and Drummer Claudio Strüby he creates an exquisite mixture of jazz and rock sounds. On their new album 'Its a Sonic Life' RUSCONI varies the sounds of the Noise-Rock cult band 'Sonic Youth'. Michael Lang and Beat Kuert met the pianist in the summer landscape of Glattalp near Schwyz. The bandleader speaks about his musical passions and the mountains as a source of inspiration.
